Template Challenge – Learning Every Day
Welcome to another month of challenges here at The Digichick blog. This month our theme will be “Learning Every Day”.
I think it doesn’t matter how old you are; everyone learns every day. Sometimes these are little things we hardly notice, sometimes we learn the hard lessons that can make our lives very heavy at times. Some people want to learn everyday, some people think at one point: it’s enough. But somewhere deep inside we keep on learning.
What I would like to focus on in this challenge is to put down what you learn throughout the everyday life. Things that you hardly notice but they are there and teaching you, your little one or pet or a new thing in life. For instance: the cats learned that when I pick up the key to the back door they know they can play outside. Or, on a more serious note: I learned throughout the last 2 years I need to take life as it comes, just ride the waves and instead of wanting to keep it all under control.
Here’s the template:
You can download it here: Template challenge Sept 3rd
And here’s my layout:

I used Wendy Page’s new kit Berry Preppy and some other bits and pieces from Jenn Barrette’s Vintage Charm kit, Laura Banasiak’s collab with Jenn Barrette: Happy when the skies are gray, flower by Wendy Page
Journaling reads:
Children can function as a mirror and in my case Mitchell is the mirror. I am amazed how he takes things and how he takes life as it comes and the discipline he shows. And that as a 10 year old boy. I can trully learn from him to take life as it comes and accept it this way instead of wanting to have everything in control and that’s not easy for a control freak like me. As far as discipline both Hans and I can learn a lot from him. He just deals with it and does it even if it gives him discomfort or if he doesn’t feel like it. “Just get it over and done with” He takes life as it comes, shows a strong discipline. That makes it that I can learn a lot from him; he holds the mirror and when I look at him I want to be like him. And that as a 37 year old woman
