Well hmm... something VERY strange is happening. I just made a post (today is 12/16 at 10:30am) and it showed that I posted that post on 12/15 at 11:30pm ... anyone know how to fix that, or what I can do to make it nrmal?? hehe

Go to User CP and under edit options you can fix the time zone.

yea... I've tried that-- and it seems to work alittle but not really... like your post says you responded today at 8:48am... but it's like 10:50am right now (and I'm looking at my watch LOL...) when I set my laptops comp I go with GMT-8:00 (pacific time)... but when I got with that on here, it's not right....

Okay just went and switched it to GMT-6:00 (here on TDC)... seems to have worked in HERE... but again, when I post a comment on a photo it says I did that 12/15 at 11:53pm ... ??
Has anyone else noticed there time-zone having to be put on the wrong time-zone for it to be the right TIME???

Do you mean in the gallery, or in the forums? The gallery seems to have its own bizarre timezone unaffected by your user CP preferences. :) It always says my gallery comments are in the middle of the night!!

Edit: yup, me too!!

Yea... the Gallery is WAY off heheheh-- but I think I got it figured out for here on the forums.. I have it set at GMT-6:00 (Central)

Okay so here's a stupid question...
What Time Zone AM I??? LOL I live in Tennessee-- and I have my computer set at GMT-8:00(Pacific) and it's right (10:57am) but I have TDC set at GMT-6:00(Central) and IT is right TOO!!!(10:57am) ... urgh LOL

Is it because of the DST? I'm in the Eastern time zone so I put it on GMT -5, and then either check or uncheck the box for DST, and one of them is right. (I cannot ever remember if DST is summer or winter. When are we "saving" time? I guess I think it's silly to change our clocks so the logic is lost on me!!) :)

Hmmm I agree-- why EVER change the clocks?? hehe--
FYI we turn the clocks one hour in FALL ... I always remember it *if you Fall Behind... Spring Ahead"
;) ... so yea I unchecked the box and just put it on what made it the right time... guess it doesn't realllllly matter if it's the right one as long as the TIME itself is right....
but I AM wondering what time zone I'm really in because then I can actually know what time all these chats are hehehe

Depending on how far West you are in Tn you're either eastern or central. Here's a map, lol!
http://geography.about.com/library/misc/ntimezones.htm

So set your time according to that, and then make sure you have the option selected that says "automatically detect DST settings' or something like that.

Does that help?
