So Grey's Anatomy... such a good show - seriously!!!!! All that with George's dad, yet they still manage to make the last minutes of the show feel-good and upbeat.
And yes,
I cried...
Then I switch over to Oprah's rerun of today. Such a huge fear of mine as the mother of 2 boys. The story of Shawn broke as we were leaving town on Sat., and I just couldn't watch it without breaking down. And now she's interviewing him and his family, and man, it's just killing me again! It is just so amazing that he was found after all this time. But still just a huge fear of mine...

didnt watch Oprah but CRIED MY EYES OUT for greys anatomy. That is just so sad and it really hit home because My husbands grandfather who we were very close to just died, and they had to pull the plug on him because all his organs were shuttingh down. So sad.

'k. I admit it. I cried during both.
GA- aside from the heart wrenching story, all I kept thinking about is dh's best friend who is going through that right now with his dad :(
& Oprah- that all went down near were I live. The man lived just a few miles from our old house. These boys were in the news all the time, and now they are questioning this guy about another abduction years before. I am so happy for these families. Yet I am sad for the others that may not have a happy ending.
I have been a blubbery mess today. I think I am going to refrain from watching TV tomorrow ;)

I also cried about Shawn. Not too far from here. When my boyfriend came home with the news that Ben was found and that Shawn was with him. I had goose bumps all over and I started to cry. My son is going to be 11 next month. As we all want to know how and why, I would like to know so I can be a wiser parent.

I know. Having boys taken isn't nearly as common as having girls taken, but I still worry, for it's not like it doesn't happen. And you think with them being 11 & 13 that they are "smart enough" to not be taken or "strong enough" or "big enough", but that's just not the case...
