Last Saturday it was 70 degrees here in the Nation's capital (well in VA right outside the nation's capital it was). And today it is 30 degrees and it's sooooo windy and the wind chills are 20 degrees and I can't get warm. I have my shoes on in the house and the heat is on 74 and I'm SOOOOOO cold. I WANT SUMMER!!!!! It's supposed to snow tomorrow night with sleet and ice and I'm not ready. UGH!!!

I don't want to go anywhere cuz it's too frickin' cold!!!! But they are dragging me out for dinner to Don Pablo's...just so I can blow my diet once more this week. My kids are sick of eating at home. LOL!

BUT this is where I'd rather be.....:island:

We have a pellet stove whih makes it feel like Florida in this room all the time in an effort to heat the rest of the house. I am *sure* its going to be cold outside, though. The wind is WILD today... all kinds of warnings and such!

My parents just bought a pellet stove before Xmas and when we were there over the holidays it was soooo warm. I couldn't believe it. I kept asking them to turn it down I was sweating. LOL!

Here in the Netherlands it's way too warm for the time of year. We haven't seen any snow yet or even a good night freeze. It's been like it should be in autumn. BUT.... they forecast some cold nights next week so who knows what is coming. I would like to see some snow this year, even if it's just for the boys.

I hope you'll be warm again soon :)

Same high temperatures here in France. We had a wind storm last week, but still high in temperatures! Sending hot vibes your way, Michele!

I have yet to get out of my robe, so I have no idea how cold it is, lol!

I think the hard thing with our winter here, is that it has been very mild, with few exceptions, and our bodies haven't adjusted yet. But we are expecting 4"-6" of snow tonight, so I think we better gear up.

I'm glad to hear your weather has been so mild Chloe. Laura and Jaime are taking us to Paris Disney the first week we are there. I can't wait. Hope and pray it doesn't rain.

Well to be honest a lot of people are kind of worried about the mild temperatures and the bad storms :( But for you I hope it will stay this way a bit longer and you will have nice weather during your time with Laura and Jaime and your Disney Trip! When will you go there?

How is the weather in the Netherlands this week? Well I guess it's actually next week. LOL! My dh is going to Amsterdam next Saturday for a convention.

And we're supposed to now get 2 inches of snow and sleet and icky stuff this afternoon. I just sent my dh to the store...you never know! LOL!

They were worried about the mild temps here too because everythng was starting to bloom. Everyone's allergies were really bad because we hadn't had a frost yet. The cherry blossoms in Washington DC were starting to bloom and that's not good for the Cherry blossom Festival in April when they are supposed to bloom. LOL! But I think now that it's cold things are better.

The forecast is that it will be freezing lightly this week, with not much rain and a bit of sun. The forecast is untill Friday, so ask me again a bit later this week :)

We got our first snow yesterday and today the kids are off school. It was 70 degrees about 10 days ago. I like that better. The snow was followed by ice which is why the kids are off.
