WHEN will I learn????????
I don't think I have the heart to restart it tonight! Ugh!!!

I'm so sorry!! That's soooo frustrating (especially when you know better...I do the same thing, forgetting to save when I'm really engrossed in a layout)

{{{HUGS}}} Ahhhh...I hate it when that happens. Even though I Ctrl + Save a lot it always makes me whimper when it happens. One time even though I had been saving throughout, after I opened it up after the crash there was a looooooot that it had lost :( Right as PSCS2 froze I did a screen shot so could kinda redo it easier.

Oh dear....I know that well - unfortunatly. End of last year I had a lot of trouble, because my pc was so stuffed up. PS creates huuuuuge temp files when you are using it for long hours and with huge psd files, your hard disk is full and your system will crash.
After each of those chrashes I remember to save for a while and then forget it again till next time.

oh no. I have a hard time remembering to save while doing a layout too. Plus on it takes my computer forever to save, sometimes I just don't have the patience.

I did make myself get it back to where it was when it was lost last night before bed. It always goes quicker the 2nd time, but just isn't as much fun either, ya know? LOL!
There's some magic shutdown spot up at the left corner and when I hit it accidentally, it just closes the whole program. I'm not quite sure where it is, but I've hit it before too! My mouth just dropped open and I said "nooooooooooooooooo!!!"
Screen shot's a good idea Karen!
I *just* installed a new 2nd HD this week, Nathalie, and had already moved over and deleted alot off the old one, so a full hard wasn't a contributing factor as it would have been last week - LOL!!!
Oh - that sucks, Michele!!!! But yay on a new laptop!!! Your kids or hubby will use the old one, right?
Deena - you've never had one crash on you?????? You must have a lucky touch!!!!
Thanks guys, for making me feel better! :)

ooohnooo, that really sucks! In my case we found out that my hd didn't work with my motherboard and grafic card, so I got those new as well - the grafic card is a high end solution and so expensive, my hubbie won't tell me how much.
Your solution might be to set an alarm clock or... what are they called? cooking timer? I would say every 5 minutes or so, but.... you have to remember to set the alarm *lol*
