View Full Version : Bizarre Credits question

I'm working on a layout, using a kit that was made by various designers for a store that is no longer in existence.
So it's making me wonder:
How thorough of credits would you expect/hope to see on a kit that's no longer available? I want to give the designers their due, but if someone falls in love with something from my layout and then finds out they can't get the kit (or sometimes anything by the designer, when they've retired), would that be frustrating??

I would say just that...kit from a retired store's collab kit, and leave it at that.

I usually just put "(retired)" behind the kit name and leave it at that. I sent in a few "older" layouts to the SSDigi call from yesterday and had to list that on quite a few - LOL!

Kimberly, don't worry about it! You've been slightly busy the last month :) Thanks, though! Isn't she perfect?? :)
Thanks everyone. :)

When I have a whole slew of fonts to list, sometimes I just give the names of the ones that I primarily used (say, in the journaling) and then say something like "Feel free to contact me if you'd like the name of a particular font used." Ya know, when I've got like 15 or 20 of them in the title work or word art or something. HTH!
