until I get a new mouse. Mine is dead on my laptop. I just hate the mouse pad on this thing. How do ya do it without a mouse? It seems like mine is too sensitive or something or I'm just too used to using a mouse.

Ive been doing mine with a touchpad for a year now :) i actually like it better sometimes.

On mine i can change the settings, i fixed it so a double tap is not a click, because that would get frustrating while i was doing a LO... Now i find it hard to use a mouse LOL

lol I can't use a mouse when I'm digiscrapping. Too used to using the touchpad, I guess!

I'm a mouse girl too... is yours the kind with the ball inside? You need to get that infared thing (i have no idea what it's called, lol!). No tracking ball, so it had amazing precision, always does exactly what you want it to.

I feel your pain! I had to use a touchpad for awhile, and did actually get used to it but it took awhile, before we got a new mouse. Love it :)

You should be able to go into the control panels and change how sensitive the touchpad is, or at least you can try :)

It was an optical mouse which I really loved. The precision on those are amazing. I keep trying to grab for the mouse...

I'm super happy with my Logitech lazer mouse...I think it's the one for gamers (I used to play a lot of first person shooter games...too much of a tom boy! LOL) but it's worked well for designing too!! :D

hope you get a new mouse. keep trying the touchpad. you might get used to it.

I use both although I like the mouse better. My DH bought a mouse for the laptop and it uses a usb port so I have the choice of both. If you like the mouse better, go to your nearest computer store and you can get one there. Then you don't have to use the pad. Hope that info helps.

I've been using an infrared 'mini mouse' (ha!) w/ my laptop...only now my mouse wrist is always sore....can you get carpal tunnel from using a mouse?! (and this thing gobbles batteries!)

I had a mini and my had would cramp up. I guess 'cause it's so small. I went back to a normal sized one and the cramps stopped.
