Have you gotten your premier issue yet?

I got mine last night!! First impression.... its OK. I LOVE that we finally have a publication so I will be supporting it monetarily and artistically (as in LO's... LOL)

I did think it was a little thin & had lots of advertising, but hey! Hopefully it'll fill up soon!

What's your first impression?

I saw a preview of the first cover and was NOT impressed. I was hoping to see something a little more "artistic" I guess? And the logo with that mouse, umm.... yeah.

I subscribed only because I figured at the early price it was the same as buying 2- and I'd likely buy at least 2 this year... I hope it's good!

I haven't gotten mine yet either. I'm anxiously awaiting its arrival. I hope it's good. It will just be nice to finally have a magazine geared toward digi rather than looking at a paper scrapping mag and skipping all the parts about paper (in other words, only looking at pictures!).

Thats kinda what I mean about it being "OK".... Being in the digital world our trends move so quickly that published work prolly can't keep up. Some of the LO's inside were deffinitely a little "behind" some of what we are doing now... KWIM?

BUT~ like I said, I will support them and subscribe! YAY!

Have any of you actually paid for your subscription yet? When I went to the site to get a subscription all they took was my info...I never heard anything after that. Did I do something wrong or miss something?

I signed up several weeks ago and they didn't have anywhere to pay. I went back last week and they had a place to on the site, so I paid. Then I thought about it and wasn't sure if I'd just entered a second subscription so I emailed the admin....still waiting on a response (and still no mag w/ maybe 2 subscriptions!!). So much for the 'will respond within 2 business days' it says on the site!!

Hey Andrea...this might seem like a really silly question but seeing you do seem to be the only person with this mag in the entire world :) just wondering are Darla and my layouts in the mag or were they just a web thing. Even now I'm still confused about where they were publishing our things...yes totally not with it LOL! Anyhoo I subscribed and will be probably getting my mag...say around Christmas time...if you guys are any indication.

I saw on their blog that people who subscribed without paying will be billed after the issue is mailed. I haven't gotten mine yet either, nor an email about paying for my subscription. Soon, I hope!

I saw it yesterday at Barnes and Noble! I agree with Andrea, I think I was hoping for a little bit more. It was fun to see the work of peeps i "know"! I hope they keep going and getting even more great stuff!

Why do magazines do that?? Don't we give them our money upfront to support them??? Aren't we the loyal customers??? Why do they let them into the stores before the subscribers even get theirs?? Especially the introductry issue??
