nope... still here, LOL!
I do have some mild cramps, but they aren't getting any stronger or anything.
We are going to go walk a bit later and clean the house, so maybe that'll kick start something! :)

Me too with Nathan! I went to the mall and walked all over and the next day I went into labor. With #2 we tried the fun method (well as fun as it can be with a 9month belly)...and that worked too!! :D

Well - I'm thinking of you today!
We have a friend here in town that's due on Matthew's birthday, so I'm wondering if the full moon will pull him out of her either...
But as I keep saying - March 9th is a very good day too! :)

Here's what did it for me... I went and got a pedicure at the mall. Sitting in that massaging chair for almost an hour felt like heaven on my poor sore back AND I went in to labor soon after... AND I HAD CUTE TOES! Yep, it worked out pretty well.

You know, I KNOW a woman who swears by this method! It worked TWICE for her! Something about pressure points in the feet or something....
And ROFLOL @ Deanna & Michelle!

Oh, that's right. I forgot about that, but when I was pregnant with one of mine, I had gotten a massage and the lady told me that since I was pregnant she couldn't do my feet. Something about the pinky toe (I think) triggering labor!
My mom said to tell you to drink some raspberry leaf tea - you might have to get it from a natural herb store. She said that should do it :)

That's true! There is a pressure point in your foot that can trigger labor. LOL! With Jack, we tried EVERYTHING! Spicy food (literally, went into a Mexican rest. and asked for the fieriest thing on the menu!), Black and blue cohash (an herb), a little lovin' nip stimulation, walking, . . . .you name it! The Dr striping my membranes (like a really invasive exam- it sucked!) is what worked. I had my appointment on Monday and went into labor the next morning.
Maybe you haven't posted today because you're at the hospital???? Hmmm- you do have a contact here on the boards that you can let know when you head in, right?? If not, let me know- I'll give you my digits! LOL!

I DO have an appt tomorrow, maybe I will ask for a membrane strip!

I read a ton of things a month ago about how to get labor going, since I was so sure I was going to go late with Rebekah. (I really wonder if the fact that I'm still nursing Jasmine is why it happened early; all that nipple stimulation must have done something!!)
Red Raspberry Tea (or a tea called Pregnancy Tea, which tastes really good) helps get the uterus ready but won't actually start labor (sorry, Tamra). I drank it through most of my pregnancy. Early Primrose Oil can help get the cervix ready, but again, it won't put you in labor.
There is a spot on your ankle (don't know exactly where) and one between your index finger and thumb, that if you massage them, it's supposed to help encourage labor. Haven't heard about the pinky toe, but that might help too.
Spicy foods, "the fun method" and walking never did it for me, but it's always worth trying. I figured they'd help if I was just about ready to go into labor, and if not, no harm done! Nothing unpleasant with those like with castor oil! :)
I hope he comes soon!!!!!
