Really Wanting a WACOM

Hey Chickies!

I am really wanting a WACOM but in my City there is only 1 available and it is the smallest, 4 x 6 I think. Anyone have any suggestions? I want to be able to doodle, make my own graphics without drawing and scanning in etc...will this one be too small?

I love my 4x6. IT's not too big so my hand doesn't have to move around everywhere. I'm not a graphic designer, so I didn't see the need to have a huge tablet. With the amount of hand movement I do on the 4x6, I just can't imagine having a bigger one..too uncomfortable for me. Just my opinion....

I have a 4x6 and I like it. But I do feel it's kind of small, I often run off the edge.
Is there any way you could try one out? at a store or friend's house?

Could you order online if you want a bigger size? Amazon.com carries them. and Costco has them online too.

I also have a 4x6 and it's enough for the use I have of it: some doodles and when I have precise photo editing to do. Hope you'll find your happiness somewhere!

If you really prefer to have a bigger one, why not ordering online or looking by ebay? I ordered my Graphire online and I'm very happy with it.

Wish I did, that would be so great! I looked at the Costco Canada website and they have the bigger ones. As for the other sites that were mentioned I will have to look, so many places do not ship to Canada that's it is heartbreaking! (A common problem unfortunately.) I will keep looking thanks for all of the ideas and advice ladies...keep it coming...I have a month until my BDay and if my darling hubby doesn't get it for me then I will get myself a present ;>

I've never had the smaller tablet but love my 6x8 tablet. Its just the right size for doodling and doesn't take up too much space. Here in Australia I found it really difficult to find anything in the stores even in the big city I live in so I know your pain. It was so frustrating but in the end I did find a tablet stashed away in the dark recesses of a shop. Maybe a store close to you could order one in for you...you never know your luck! Anyhoo good luck Michelle, hopefully you get something sorted soon :)

Since I didn't get one for V-Day...I'm hoping for my big 40th in a couple months....OR...maybe I'll just selllllll tons of my goodies in my stores and then I can just get one myself (wouldn't that be sweet??)
