any ideas?
I'd like to make a mini book because it's been awhile, maybe incorporate some digi stuff in there. Digi-up my photos first maybe? Or make some basic, premade pages and then embie them? I don't wanna upset the store by talkin' digi TOO MUCH, but most of the girls around here have never even heard of it, so I'd love to 'enlighten' them, lol!

Heck, I just take my laptop in! :) My LSS knows I do digi, but that I also buy albums to put digital pages in, and I still buy paper goodies for friends for birthdays and christmas...makes no sense to alienate me just because 99% of my stuff is digital. They even asked me to check some digital software they were thinking of carrying in the store...
But yeah, I'd "digi up" my photos...or you could even print out 6x6 or 7x7 premade pages, and pretty up a chipboard album and then adhere the pages down....

Sounds fun! Sometimes I make pages digitally, print them at Staples and then assemble a mini album of some kind. I guess you do just the assembly at the crop if you wanted too, but embellishing with paper scrapping stuff sounds fun too! Have a good time - I'll be in the Bahamas! ;)

DO IT * DO IT * DO IT * DO IT * DO IT!
ROFL.go digi - it's okay!!!! :) However you decide to do it - Have a WONDERFUL time!!!
I'm going to a big paper crop weekend with some paper friends from way back when I used to be a paste eater(yeah - a whole eight months ago), and am torn. I need to finish up those paper albums - I have all the stuff - but I really want to go digi. But the paper is gonna win out. It sits in my room and taunts me. LOL

I think its a great idea to do some hybrid layouts! I am going to a paper crop next weekend and I may just do the same thing (course I guess I better get on the planning, huh? lol)

Ok, I think I'll work on the mini book then, make some basic pages and add embies to 'em and stuff. It'll be fun to work with actual photos again. Now... what theme should I go with??? LOL! I thought of printing off some 'flat' digi embies and stickers to ad.

Wow Heather the Bahamas...you are a world traveler! Lucky Gal!
Val, how exciting. I must say I love mini-albums. Before I found digi I was a paper scrapaholic and made a few mini albums in a tin for my MIL and my mom, they were so much fun! Wish I had made one for myself. Hybrid would be really cool. Your idea of using some digi embellishments as well as the other stuff sounds awesome. Have fun and most of all be your digi-self. We want pictures when you are done!

I think it owuld be a great idea to incorporate digi somehow (like you could truly get away from it!! Haha)- it would provide you with a conversations piece at the crop, but since it wouldn't be 100% digi, it would work well with the shop owners, too. I like the idea of Dr.-ing the photos. Perhaps you can print some "templates" that you'd like to use for the pages, too- it might be easier because then you'd know what you need to do with the photos (enlarge, crop, etc).
Have fun girl!!!

Well I had to miss the crop (boo hoo!). I thought Eden had a birthday party on Saturday but it ended up being on Sunday (same afternoon as the crop). Poop! I had a whole bunch of my fav. digi papers printed out and a new album and everything. What a bummer! Now I have to wait till NEXT month or buy a bunch of my own stuff (which I don't want to do because I might not use them again).
