This has been a social experiment on a radio station here in Chicago. They've picked two people (one male, one female) and they've never seen one another and have met and learned so much about one another and may possibly be getting married today.

The 20/20 cameras have even been following them around the whole time for a segment on the show.

I've been so facinated by this...today is the day! It is possible these two people who have never seen one anothermay be getting married. They get soooooo much stuff if they do. 1 year condo near the lake, rings worth $15,000, $10,000 worth of furniture for the condo, flowers, the whole wedding, wedding planner, dress/tux and now a honeymoon to Hawaii.

Has anyone else been following this??? You can watch this online at www.wtmx.com (http://www.wtmx.com)

How do they know so much about each other if they've never met? Online or something?

This was the whole set up. They took two strangers and had them meet online and talk a lot and get to know one another.

DH was following this and he told me about it. He says the guy changed his mind.

Not something I'd do but arranged marriages do happen and can work out well. I wouldn't want to get married publicly though.

The bride and groom, from the sounds of it had agreed off the air not to get married today because both weren't totally sure. They'd really only gotten to know one another for 3 weeks. They both agree they are very compatible and the are in "like with one another". They both want to take more time and make sure it's the "real" person they want to marry.

The radio station gave them the honeymoon trip to Hawaii as a "continue to get to know one another" thank you for participating in this experiment/we aren't giving you the huge prizes though gifts because you didn't get married.

I do hope that these two people have truly found the person they should be with and it's just a matter of time before true love happens between them.

It was fun to hear them getting to know one another. I can't wait for the 20/20 segment. It will be all over the news tonight here too.
