Is Spring Break over yet???? My kids are driving me nuts! It's only 8:30 and they are already wrestling and throwing each other into the floor and flinging toys around the livingroom. Gosh, you'd think they were toddlers again! It's been either this kind of crazy play or fighting. I also don't think I can handle one more Spongebob episode (which is a lot coming from me because I love my Spongebob). It's been too cold to send them outside.
Calgon take me away!
Johnny is staying at a buddy's house tonight so we're taking Eden out on a 'date' to Red Lobster. She loves it. We always joke that she is going to be an expensive date to the boys because she doesn't order off the kids menu... she eats shrimp, lobster, crab legs, the works. Johnny get's chicken fingers no matter WHAT restarant we're at.

DH had a phone interview with a new company last night (he isn't looking for a new job, but his one might be a good move forward), so now we're getting ready for a real interview in a week or so. EEK! I've got to do some research about Huntsville now. Maybe the schools are better (which wouldn't be hard!)...

Here the kids went back to school on Wednesday. They only got the 5th - 10th off. The schools started construction on the new schools so this year and next year they are getting less time off for holidays and such and more time off over the summer. They want the schools to be built by the start of the 2008 fall school year. 3 of them.
Today I have some running around to get some last minute things for Zoie's party on Sunday. It's our first big gathering at the new house also.
I got most of the cleaning done except for my room and bathroom. So that will get finished tonight or tomorrow.
So off I go...

Ugh! That sounds like my evening yesterday! The kids were running around like wild banshees and while it started as lots of fun (for them), it ended up too crazy and ugly. They're only 3 1/2 and almost 2, so there's a fine line btwn crazy fun and crazy not-fun-anymore! When dh got home I left for a little me-time and some retail therapy! (even if is was just Walmart)
Today it's beautiful outside. I think we're gonna meet some friends at a playground in a little while, then run a few errands, then home for nap-time (one of my favorite times of the day)!!! Hopefully my MIL will be dying to come get the kids this afternoon and let them spend the night with her so dh and I can go out sans crazy kids!

It's 34 degrees and "light snow," so I think we'll continue to do indoor things again today!! Yuck. i'm so ready for spring!!
Jasmine is suddenly very excited about seeing letters (she recognizes M, and some of the time knows H and C) so we'll likely be doing a lot of letters today :) And I really need to get packing...we close on the house next Friday!!!! (we're waiting another week to fully move in though)

How exciting Charlene! Not much on for my day (psst I'm at work right now LOL). DH is off though and thinking about starting landscaping the backyard, starting being the operative word. I am really in a funk as I got some yucky news yesterday. No it's not the end of the world but I feel terrible and am really questioning things because of it. I just feel really down. DH doesn't understand, but at least he tries. Anyway, 'nuff rambling from me. What's up for everyone else?

Ooooo, new job possibites are so nerve wracking, Sinead! When John was making up his mind about this new job my stomach was nearly in knots.
Tried to get the kids out because it looked sunny and balmy... only the wind was so horrible we were freezing. BAck inside. At least I have dinner to look forward to and then dh and i will have movie night on the couch, always nice. We're going to watch Bobby. Is it good?

Never saw Bobby. My kids were off today for quarter break. It was a teacher work day. their spring break was last week. Not much going on...just a stressful day and I'm eating too much. :(

My girl goes back to school on Tuesday and in a strange bizarre way its too soon. Both of my kidlets have been really good...sleeping in to 8.30-9.00am but I think that has something to do with DH being away with work because if he were here they would hear him getting up at 6am and would be wanting to join him. So its been really nice having some sleep ins and I LOVE my sleepins so I'll be one cranky mumma next week when I have to get up early again lol!
Sounds like everyone has been finding heaps of things to keep them busy over the break. I've been doing a little bit of painting throughout the house...which is a job I absolutely hate but it has to be done if I ever want this half renovated house finished!
I better go I think I jinxed myself with talk of good children...my 2 yo has just ripped a page out of an atlas, sucked half the toothpaste out of the tube and is having a complete hissy fit because I said no to both of these activities. Hmmmmm I wonder if I can send him to school on Tuesday?

LOL Fee! Sounds like your day is like a normal day at my house. hehehe
I went down to Target and bought some summer t-shirts and shorts for Maggie. Nothing for Kate today, but since her birthday is only 4 days after Maggie's, she gets all of Maggie's old stuff. Poor kid...I'm going to have to start buying some things that are just for her.
Trying to finish up the newsletter so that we can get it ready for you guys!
