Ok, I've already confessed that I'm a procrastinator. That's another thread and another time but I have the rough draft of the 3 chapters of my action research project that need to be emailed to the professor tonight. Now realize I've been working on this for a large portion of the week and it is my spring break so isn't this week all about relaxing and enjoying vacation?

Well it's not been like that for me at all and I'm so far beyond giving a hoot about this paper. I'm alreading counting down until the end of the Masters program. 70 days if you were interested.

I wanted to take my son out for dinner about 2 hours ago and he's been goofing off skateboarding and now announces that he thinks we should go out for dinner. So sorry kid not at 8:00! Now I just want to eat and turn on the tv and veg out.

I'm hungry and have only had some tuna salad to eat today. The kid doesn't realize that he probably missed eating at the Cheesecake factory.

So what is going to motivate me to get this paper done tonight What do you think the professor would do if he got it tomorrow instead of today? I guess since it's only the rough draft and the final is really due on 5/1 it shouldn't make much of a big deal since he's split the class in half and the first half is due now and the last half is due next week.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I'm thinking I need a Mike's hard lemonade instead of this paper!:embaresse

Oh, that stinks to have waited for so long, but you just gotta work as hard as you can on it and send it ASAP, and then enjoy a comforting reward (that will keep you motivated, if you just needed a little push! LOL) Remember to take some little breaks. I usually work 45 minutes (that's the average time a brain can stay focused in a row) and then relax or do something in the house for 15 minutes, and repeat. Keep us updated!

Parts 1 and 2 were edited and revised and I think they sound fairly decent for a rough draft. I know there will be some corrections in that section, but hopefully minimal. Section 3 I know is sloppy and wasn't edited or revised. He'd better remember this is something we've never done before and was hard not to mention this IS the rough draft.

I think he'll tell me I'll have to add and edit because it in total has to be between 13-20 pages and I think mine is just shy of 13.

Anyway it was sent today...Friday with about 15-20 minutes to spare. Thank goodness for timestamps on emails!
