Just wanted to let you know that it runs longer than the 2 hours (as usual for them lol)...JIC you are recording it I would hate for you to miss the 10 or so minutes it goes over the 2 hours.

UGH! I recorded it! And missed the ending! URGH!!!!! ROFL! I had to run and check it out on the web. Man, I wasn't surprised though! It was a GREAT night... There were so many fun performances!!!! LOVED IT! Can't wait for "So you think you can dance" tomorrow night! YAY!

I also missed the end!!! GRRRRRRR.... My dh thinks they did it on purpose to screw with the tivo people. Fortunately, my mom called about 20 minutes before the end to warn us that it ran over, so at least I was prepared for it to cut out. GRRRRRR...

Besides that, it was a great show!! Gotta love the Beatles tribute :)

Yeah...I couldn't beleive that. I told my dh I was soooo glad we didn't record it cuz we were going to. But I actually enjoyed the show for the most part. Some interesting performances. And I'm with Karen...I will hold it in cuz I like being here. LOL! :D But Laura..it's taking every once of willpower I have to not mention it, but for you I will. LOL! :D But I'm bursting!

I was SO afraid to open this thread. LOL Now I'm nervous cuz you never know how the military TV station will work it... will they play it til it's over or will they start the next show on schedule? EEEK! 5.5 hours 'til it starts. We're going to have dinner and baths done early tonight so I can kick the girls to their room if they get too roudy. LOL

I was going to ask you about that. So...do you have the same channels like abc, nbc, etc, but they are broadcast over a military network or does the military decide which shows to broadcast on their channels? Is everything a day later or is it just some things?

I'm glad to hear I wasn't the only one who didn't get the ending. P_____ed me off to say the least. The station here just cut it off, period, end of story. So we missed out on the ending too. Don't think I will watch it next year.

I'm thinking they overbooked the commercials... cuz it ended right on time here... but we don't have commercials... just dorky army ones. LOL

BTW... I think I was secretly rooting for my boy Blake... but Jordin is pretty awesome. Blake's gonna be fine.

I miss Melinda. :regular_s I was blown away by her when she was singing with the Wynans (that's who she was singing with, right?). I know that she used to sing backup with them, but man, she fit RIGHT in! There was no difference in talent there. She's going to have one rockin' career, I think.

Yep, Melinda will be JUST fine. She's an amazing performer... and yes, her song with the Wynans was incredible. Took me right back to the 90s when I was consumed with singing in the gospel choir at church. I love the Wynans.

That tribute to Sgt. Pepper was awesome!!! And, is it my imagination or has Kelly Clarkson put on weight. She looked so puffy... but, she was still in great vocal form.

I still love Taylor!!!

Carrier Underwood is, IMO, the best Idol to date... she's beautiful in every way.

Sanjaya still gets on my nerves! LOL

Big Bird was rediculous... POOR Ryan!!!

Gladys Knight still rocks.
