Dang, I sat around for 3 hours this afternoon waiting for Mr Comcast, who never came. I got an automated call saying that Comcast was scheduled to come from 1-4, with ETA btwn 1-2.
at 4:15pm I called and CSR says the appt was cancelled in the system. grrr. CSR thinks maybe the Vonage tones are different and that's why it cancelled in the system. think he was grasping at that when I mentioned something about Vonage (I like to blame all phone troubles on Vonage). Anyway he says I should receive a $22 credit on my next bill. hmm, okay I guess I will take that, since I was expecting nothing. Ahh how cheaply I can be bought off ...
the whole purpose of the appt was to figure out why my high speed internet goes out occasionally. I'm thinking how about sending me a new modem? Especially since my modem is from four modems ago! dangit, I've been with Comcast before it was Comcast before it was AT&T when it was Mediaone . . . whatever . . .
