6th anniversary... not starting well!

DBF and I are celebrating our 6th anniversary today. We met IRL (after meeting on the web a month earlier) 6 years ago!

Unfortunately the day isn't starting very well: I had to take our cat Bidule to the vet this morning 'cause he got stuck in an inclinable window last night. He probably stayed there for several hours before I got up and found him. He was paralysed of the lower body, so the vet will keep him this weekend and make sure that his nerves didn't get damaged. He's already doing better (been able to eat a bit and drink and... dunno how to say that... evacuate IYKWIM), though, so I'm hopeful.

And to make it starting even worse, DBF's back hurts very much, so no... ahem.... physical activities for him today! Happy anniversary.............. :break_everything: LOL

Oh man Chloe... these windows here are terrible for that! Some friends of ours lost BOTH their cats the same night when they got stuck. I saw something the other day in a store ad that is made just for that though. Like a baracade so your animals can't get in there and get stuck.

I hope Bidule and DBF are feeling better very soon!

Laura, I feel so lucky to have found Bidule soon enough to save him, I would have been devastated if I'd lost another cat! Hope he'll get better, it's so frustrating to have to wait without being able to do anything!

Oh Chloe I am sorry to hear that. You just are not having luck with kitty's lately. Poor thing. Hope he turns out okay. You remember my husband and kind of joker he is don't you? Well, he said to ask you, "Have you ever tried stuffed animals?" Don't pay any attention to him. I really hope Bidule is okay. Keep up posted.

Thanks girls! Actually, I think we'll simply let the window completely open or completely closed, and that will be it! I'm too afraid now, even if the cat isn't around this weekend I couldn't let the window inclined... too many bad memories!

THe anniversary went well finally, we went to one of our favorite restaurant, had a lovely dinner and chat, that was great! He still has pain and couldn't sleep all night, but at least our anniversary was nice! ;-) (Am I being mean? LOL)

I don't know how Bidule is doing. I guess he's ok since the vet didn't call, but since his office is closed today, I didn't call either. I'm nervous, hope he's doing fine. Will have to wait 'till tomorrow to find out!
