My son's college tuition just decreased

almost overnight. yesterday I confirmed how much the 1/3 payment was now today I double checked for some reason and it decreased almost $580 bucks. do I call and ask why or just go with it and keep my mouth shut???

I'd probably call...you don't want it to be a clerical error that somehow gets charged back to you with late fees (or might delay him registering or continuing in his classes).

Yeah, I agree with calling. As much as that is awesome, you don't want it to come back and bite you when you least expect it.

funny thing is...I tried calling and it rang once and then my phone disconnected. Is this divine intervention??

I'd keep trying just in case! Maybe there was a problem with one of the classes he registered for? If so that will give you time to get him registered for something else!

ok I called and even mentioned that the original tuition less the deferments didn't add up to what they say is now due, the lady used her calculator, said you're right it has changed somehow but since it's less than before pay that and don't worry about it. I even said I didn't want anyone coming back to us saying we owe that difference but she said he was ok and he could register for next semester. I printed out what the computer said, I wrote her name, the date, and what she said so I'm going with the lesser amount.

Looking at the bill his on-campus tuition and general fees were what went down. I wonder if they really do give tuition reductions for alumni when they said they didn't.

Who knows, I'm figuring that God played some role in this, and he has done good!
