DH and I received phone calls from my son's daycare at 4:25pm today, he was running across the playground and ran into a table - smack dab in the middle of his forehead! He has a HUGE goose egg, so we took him to the ER to be checked, he's fine, but Mommy's heart rate is still a little high LOL. The Dr figures his head will be worse looking tomorrow and he may even have a couple of black eyes in the morning. The nurse asked me if he was accident prone, lol, I told her she'd probably be seeing a lot of us in the next few years!

Oh I am so glad he is ok!
My oldest is the same and is always running into things. Usually the wall.

I'm glad he's ok! Do you think it's a boy thing? B/c I've actually several times thought to myself, 'I can't believe he just walked into the door, and no one will believe me if I told them that!'

Yikes! Ouch! Oh I can imagine it would scare any mother to see the big bump and bruise right on his head!

Oh poor guy! For us, it's more our little girl who's accident prone -- we often comment how appropriate it is we didn't name her "Grace"!
Anyway, once he's feeling a little better and your heart rate goes down a bit, grab the camera and snap a few pictures. I bet he'd love to see a LO about his big goose-egg one day!!! :)

Glad to hear he isn't hurt too badly. With how my boys fight and play together we usually have at least one bloody nose a day, if not more.
Hope he doesn't do anything that requires another ER visit.

I bet he'll have one big bruise. Glad he's ok and you're better now. I hate those kinds of phone calls.

ouch! Glad he is okay. I think it's one of those things that look worse than it really is.
I was at a La Leche League mtg once when Henry bumped into a chair leg and immediately a big ol bump swelled up. I remember everyone telling me "nurse him, nurse him" LOL.
