We're going out to dinner with my SIL and fam to celebrate my nephews birthday, then we're all heading over here to have a High School Musical party, make popcorn, watch the movie and then play cards or something. I can't wait!

OMG, my seven year old got a "Troy" sticker last week while she was at the hospital, and I about died because she walked around KISSING it!!! I told her that she was not allowed to kiss pics of boys, yet...and we were going to ban any future HSM if she did it again! That seemed to do the trick for the moment.

So, yeah...watching it here! :)

I've been watching Zac all week. LOL! If I was 21, man..I'd be all over him! ok..back to reality. Verizon has it on Video on Demand since last Friday so we've seen it about 10 times I think. We've been watching the first one and then the 2nd right after it. He looks a LOT hotter in the 2nd... And I love all the songs! I thought Shelly and I were the only ones that were into HSM. My dh and I call it the modern Grease!

I was actually going to post about this too! We are ready here - my kids have been driving me nuts about it! We moved into the new house almost 3 weeks ago and DirectTV just got hooked up yesterday! That was the earliest they could do it, but it was okay with the kids because they just wanted it before Friday - cause HSM2 was coming on then!!!

And Michelle, last night my dh said that it was a modern day Grease, too. I don't know why I didn't think of that because I love Grease!

I haven't even seen the first one yet, but have been seeing lots of previews for the new one. My girls are a bit young yet, they are more into Hannah Montana right now but we may have to watch it! I think the blonde girl that plays in HSM that is from Suite Life of Zach & Cody is cute, Ashley Tisdale I think is her name.

OH MAN!! I can't believe that many of you haven't seen the 1st one!! Truthfully, I didn't know what all the hype was... then we watched it, and we watched it again, and again, and again... IT IS SO CUTE! A must see, specially if you like sappy musicals... ROFL!! OH and part of it was filmed here in Alb at the old Alb high.. (in the first movie, when they are in front of that beautiful brick highschool.. Thats it!!! ) we're having a HSM2 sleepover.. Y'all are WELCOME! ROFL!! And hubby BETTER be stopping and picking up that soundtrack today! LOL!

I saw Hairspray too. He WAS AWESOME!!! I saw Hairspray in Vegas last year and loved it and this was just as good. A little different. They changed the ending, but still really really good. And he was fantastic to look at.

That's no excuse. My sons love it just as much. LOL! It's the one movie that ALL my kids love. I just finished putting the CD on to all 4 of their music players so they can listen to them on vacation (ages 11, 8, 4 & 3). Now we jam to HSM2 in the car too. The great thing is that the whole family loves the movie including my dh.

Sounds like fun!!!! If I wasn't going on vacation, I'd be there. LOL! :D I'm curious what you all think of the movie.

I like it just as much as the first. Maybe a tad more, but I think it's really cuz I needed new music. There are filming another one that will be out next year at the movie theatres. My 8 yr old is a HSM trivia junkie. She knows everything about everyone and the movie.
