how's it going everyone?

I have a LO started. And it's not working for me and is not conveying what I want it to. But I am torn with doing it right and just getting it done. Would be SO lovely to be done before the deadline. Although knowing me, I would probably wait til the last minute to submit JIC true inspiration struck.

I haven't even started mine yet. I have no idea what I'm going to do, I'll probably try to work on it tonight after we get back from dinner.

I haven't started mine either. And unfortunately don't really want to. I might try to sit down later tonight with the sole intention of at least starting the layout. I don't know though, I can't get an idea to start with.

Ugh! I'm so clueless as to what to do for this one. Out of all of them, I'm definitely finding this one the hardest. I've had a couple of ideas, but they seem to unoriginal and boring. And really, why are there not more colors to work with (haha!) because I've seen them all already used and I just don't want to be a copy! LOL! Can you tell I'm frustrated?!?

Okay, off to look through my photos and my kits and see if some inspiration jumps out at me.

Finally found a little inspiration and just went with it! And I'm pretty happy with the result. :)

Ok, so I think I might have found a couple of photos to work with and a color/emotion to use. Let's just hope that at some point in the remainder of the day that it will come together to be something halfway resembling a layout. lol

Well, I think I'm done with it. I wanted to wait and post it, but I don't know how much longer I'm going to be able to stay awake. lol So, I like it the way it is, I think it needs something else, but nothing that falls within the "guidelines" so it will stay the way it is ;)

I had a hard time scrapping with just one color, but I've had mine done for a few days :D. I still think last week's challenge was my hardest yet.

I am excited to see the next challenge. I have really enjoyed this contest! It's the first I've entered, and it is really pushing me to scrap outside my comfort zone. Anyone else getting a lot out of this?

Ashleigh, it's been stressful for me because I've been so focused on losing weight/working out and haven't had much time to scrap lately. Oh well. I think I've done some pretty good layouts for it. :) Glad it's been inspiring for you!

well, I had hit my annual scrap slump before the contest began. Back to school/beginning of fall/new tv all seem to keep me from scrapping, and from wanting to scrap. So I am happy to have this pull me out of it, I work best under pressure :D

Shawna - I think I spotted yours ;) Mine is near yours. lol Mine isn't the greatest this week, with being sick (again) and not being able to figure out something beforehand really set me back this week. But, I submitted something, I like it for me, but it's definitely not up tp par with the other layouts submitted for the contest.

mine's up. totally not my favorite thing in the world, but it's up.

i'm thinking that i'm approaching SUAS a little differently than most. i think for me it's become a tuesday night speed scrap kind of thing - LOL! but, i am perfectly happy with that :)
