My MIL just asked my DH if we'd be willing to host Thanksgiving dinner this year.
:scared0016:
I guess it was too good to last - as much as we grumbled about having to attend 2 Thanksgiving dinners every year (on the same day too, my parents in the morning/early afternoon, his in the afternoon/evening), it meant that all I had to do was bring a pie and was off the hook for anything else.
:rolleye0012:
Now my MIL has seen our house (twice now, which is more than she saw any other of our residences) and she is getting up there in age, so she's thinking it is time to pass the responsibility on....
And my parents (mom and stepdad) are freshly divorced, so that wasn't happening this year either....
*gulp* :26:
