I don't know about this challenge. I am just having a hard time thinking out outside the box on this one - too many vague/subjective restrictions, maybe? I have a page, I am happy with it, but I am not ready to upload it. I think it follows the rules (although I used a little blending), but I am not sure.

ETA - Robin just clarified some questions at SSD: basically she said the challenge was open to your own interpretation, and the judges were not given any criteria as to what is clean/graphic. Or at least that's how I read it :)

This is a week it would be nice to be able to bounce some ideas and layouts off friends. None of my online friends scrap, so they think it looks good, but who knows if they would understand the rules of the contest I'm talking about. lol

I'm slightly confused also, I'll probably wait until the weekend again for mine, I hate waiting, but we've been so busy during the week it's the only time I have.

I'm already done with mine! I finally got it the way I wanted it earlier today & just decided to go ahead and post it & get it over with! One less thing I have to worry about the rest of the week LOL!

dude. haven't even started, yet again. not even sure what i'll do. ;) i have to take pics today for our christmas card (winkflash has a sale on 4x8s if you order before Nov 1), so maybe i'll get a good one for this challenge. ugh

And I agree, Mimi, my LO last week could have easily been tweaked to fit this challenge.

I did 3 separate LOs for this week! I went with the one that had the least amount of embellishments, but it looks really plain in the gallery. Hopefully, that is a good thing. But you never know until the results are revealed :D

I have TONS of favorite photos...... so i had NO idea what i was going to choose.. but then the other night i had a thought.. and bribed my daughter for a quick photo shoot.. and viola.... new pic.. nobody has seen before and PERFECT for what i wanted to portray....

i really dwelled on the "a photo that needs NO explanation" i noticed how TONS of people posted journaling, Or explanations in their descriptions.. LOL! thought that was funny.. rofl......

i will personally be GLAD when this contest is over.. i'm not regretting competing.. i think it's really brought back my scrappin mojo... however, i haven't scrapped a single layout in the last month except THOSE for the contest.... i'm anxious to use this contest energy on my everyday layouts.

Now I'm trying to put my layout together....got the background, now for a 2nd paper, one or two embellies, a word phrase, then I'm done....
