Me and Tristan spent last night at the hospital, again :(... More headaches. I knew something was not quite right when we left the hospital, but could not seem to convince the doctor of that... Unfortunately he was the same one on call last night :P After arguing with him, I convinced him to admit Tristan for observation, since he was still having headaches, even though the doctor was convinced there was nothing wrong.
Well I am glad I did that! Today Tristan's actual doctor came in and did rounds, we spoke and now there is a game plan in action. He felt Tristan's shunt was over draining at this point, so he suggested adjusting the setting by a half step. (Rather than a full step like they did before)... Well we got to get the setting changed, and Tristan's shunt was supposed to be on 1.0, and turns out it was on .5! (in this case the lower the number the more it drains). So that totally explains why things were not right. The doctor put it on 1.0, and if he continues to have headaches we will go back to clinic and they will change the setting again, bumping it up another half step. If this ultimately does not work, then we have to start looking at the possibility that there is something bigger going on.
