So Billy got tickets to the Texans football game today. We invited my SIL and BIL to come along. We went early to a tailgate party. It was sponsored by a local grocery store and Budweiser. It was REALLLLLLLLLY good food. I had a couple cranberry and vodka drinks. We then went into the stadium and found our awesome seats- 10 yard line, 10 rows up on the home team side. Much to my husband's delight, the cheerleaders were right in front of us. Watched an exciting game, ate some peanuts, had a good time.

But I am exhausted. I can barely lift my fingers to type. And it is only 6:30 and I want to go to bed.

In college we would do this for every home football game. And then go out after the game.

When did I get so old?

And just so you know- the cheerleaders are really not that pretty. The just wear tight clothes and know how to shake it.

LOL the cheerleaders always have 2 tons of makeup on IMO (or at least at the Rams games they do)

I think it's the kids.

LOL on the cheerleader part. We used to go to concerts in high school, jump around and scream for a couple hours, eat pie and drink coffee afterwards at Denny's and Big Boys all over the state and then drive an hour or so back home... AND THEN BE UP FOR SCHOOL IN THE MORNING. If I could have an ounce of that energy now...

1. it's kids for sure
2. it's the "responsibility" responsibility sucks all the life right out of you
3. a different routine will zap that energy too.
4. yes Amanda you are getting old!

I can so relate! I had to roller skate with my 5 year old DD on a birthday party yesterday. And not only have I sore muscles from holding her to prevent her from falling but I am exhausted! I am still exhausted the next day! Well, OK - I didn't sleep well last night, cause it was so warm, but still... when I was younger I wouldn't be as tired as I am today!

LOL about the cheerleaders! I always say the same thing! I have closeup pics of the Chiefs cheerleaders & they wear lots of makeup & tight skimpy outfits!

My dad has season tickets to the KC Chiefs & last New Years Eve they bought the 2 seats next to theirs from their friends so we could go to the game with them. We got up really early & tailgated with a bunch of their friends & then went into the game. It had been snowing so it was really cold & I was about 6 months pregnant so all I could drink was plain old hot cocoa & soda. By the time the game was over I was freezing & starving so we went to eat @ Joe's Crab Shack & then I went back to our hotel room and crashed for like 4-5 hours til it was time to get ready to go to the New Years party. All I really wanted to do was stay in the room & sleep but didn't want to be a party pooper so I went anyway. As soon as midnight came I made Rob bring me back so I could go right back to sleep LOL!
