I saw this on line today - Do you have the answers????

*Why do we press harder on a remote control when we know the batteries are getting weak?

*Why do banks charge a fee on "insufficient funds" when they know there is not enough?

*Why does someone believe you when you say there are four billion stars, but check when you say the paint is wet?

*Why doesn't glue stick to the bottle?

*Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard?

*Why does Superman stop bullets with his chest, but ducks when you throw a revolver at him?

*Whose idea was it to put an "S" in the word "lisp"?

*If people evolved from apes, why are there still apes?

*Why is it that no matter what color bubble bath you use the bubbles are always white?

*Is there ever a day that mattresses are not on sale?

*Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator with hopes that something new to eat will have materialized?

*Why do people keep running over a string a dozen times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it, then put it down to give the vacuum one more chance?

*Why is it that no plastic bag will open from the end on your first try?

*How do those dead bugs get into those enclosed light fixtures?

*Why is it that whenever you attempt to catch something that's falling off

the table you always manage to knock something else over?

And why do people park cars out on the driveway and store junk in the garage? :rolleye0012:

Haha we do this! But only cause we have 5 people in a 1,060sf house and way too much stuff so we have to put it somewhere LOL! Better than out in the yard like some people ;) I keep saying I'm going to give a bunch of stuff to Goodwill soon so I can at least park my van in there this winter! DH will have to fend for himself out in the driveway LOL!

Hilarious questions though (and oh so true)!

I admit it - I *used* to be one of those people who parked in the driveway.

But now I have no driveway, and it's a rear facing garage (in other words, the street is behind my house instead of in front of my house), so we have to park BOTH of our vehicles in the garage, according to our HOA agreement.

We park both a Dodge Durango and a Ford Taurus sedan in our garage. Yes, I do have to "think thin" when getting out of my Durango in the evening, but we have managed to haul truckloads of stuff to Goodwill (another trip planned this weekend, Goodwill is about 1.5 mile from our house). Since we have a guest room, we actually have been storing all stuff in there that wasn't unpacked....now my mom wants to give us a bed for the guest room, and we have to unpack (which means more trips to Goodwill). :D

Our garage is more like DH's "den" lol - he hangs out there with his laptop, and his tv and his radio, which means I don't have to watch or listen to too many sports! (Yes, we have a TV in our garage LOL!)

I'd love to turn our garage into a really cool playroom like I've seen done on some of the decorating shows on HGTV. But unless we installed some sort of heating & cooling system out there it would be really hot in the summer & really cold in the winter! And I doubt my kids would want to play out there then! We need to make lots of trips to Goodwill though! I want to at least be able to park one vehicle out there this winter!
