I'm trying to make a 4x6 album for Lily's bday pics.
I'm just having the hardest time putting it all together. I've never made a coordinated album. I feel like moron.
I have Shutterfly coupon for some free 4x6 prints that expires tomorrow, so I'm trying to finish it all today. aack.

Nothing like waiting til the last minute, huh? lol I will be posting this same thing in about a month when my free photobook is set to expire.
What are the colors in the photos? Maybe pull the papers based on the colors for that? Amanda's got a cute wrapping paper pack ;)

Know the feeling! I sat down to work on a 4x6 album for Maggie last night and just couldn't get any ideas! Good luck! (Maybe try one of the quickpage albums in the store? That might help...)

Darcy & Amanda have some cool 4x6 brag book pages that would be perfect for birthday parties... They already have Amanda's super cool embellies!
lemme see...here:

Great idea, especially since it's a birthday book!

oh, yes, I am using that brag book template (after forcing Darcy to give it to me LOL). And I got Amanda's bday party element set too. I'm using the photo colors for paper colors pretty much, so what I've got is an overabundance of pink and blue.
I realized that doing this is like doing at least 10 layouts. even if they are smaller. um, 10 layouts would take me at least 2 wks, closer to 4.
I've got about 3 pages started. But I think I'm going to stop for now. It wouldn't cost much to print at Costco. and with shipping for Shutterfly, I don't think it makes much of a difference.
Kelly, I'll be going through all this in a month too when my calendar code is set to expire.
I thin Henry is really annoyed/jealous that I'm making a bday book for Lily when I've never done that for him.

here's what I have done so far. Still need to add some drop shadows. If you happen to know if a kit that goes with this, speak up!
eta: dang, need to mat the photos too.

It's adorable Mimi! She looks so cute all dolled up! Ummm, I don't tend to work with pink much so I'm afraid I'll be no help with kits. Though, doesn't Jacque have some cute stickers or something for princesses? Looked and she has a set called Make Believe that might help.
