I'm working on our Christmas card so that I can try to take advantage of Winkflash's deal (40% off cards if you order before 11/1...I think that's the deal). I'm stuck. Can you guys give me your thoughts/suggestions/criticism? I'm not married to any of it...I might actually try to get more pictures tomorrow. I was just trying to see if the pictures I had would work. I feel like it needs something, but I don't have a clue what that 'something' is. Any help or feedback is much appreciated!

Try a ribbon tied across the photos, maybe in a gold color?

I was thinking a ribbon too. Maybe a little tree? I love the photos though, super cute little girls :)

A ribbon across would be great - or a ribbon behind the three photos, going from one end of the card to the other to sort of visually connect them.

Other ideas - maybe some of Chere's flourish-y stitches from the Tristan kit on top of the background paper. Recolor them in red I'd guess.

The background paper, your photos & composition are great though!! This is going to be an awesome card :)

adorable pics, Sinead. I was also thinking ribbon/bow, maybe a little tree, holly, or wreath, some sort of Christmas-y element?

kudos for getting these done early!

does Winkflash have procrastinator deals?

I would tie a ribbon around the photos or a photo wrap. They are super cuties.

I think its super cute too (love the photos!) but I like the idea of adding a wrapped ribbon around them & maybe doing some type of swirly flourishy thing behind the photos.

Great suggestions, everyone! I'll go wander my digi stash (and the Boutique, probably!) to see what I can add. Thanks so much!! I'll let you know what the final version looks like. :)

I'm seeing a lot of red and you need something to contrast that. How about some cream/white snowflakes, or ribbon. I don't know if you could find this anywhere, but it would be stunning with some gold ribbon or something that looked velvety and a beautiful white poinsettia on there.

Good luck!

Ugh. I've been working on this for hours and I'm still not crazy about it. How about this version?

I'm still tinkering with it. I've got to order tomorrow. What do you think about this version?

Sinead I love this last version! Love the darker green contrasting with the red in their dresses, maybe move the flower element to the left and ditch the tree? But thats just my two cents worth...

that cute, Sinead!

I'm thinking along the same lines as Cheryl . . . the tree and flower are conflicting . . . but I'd maybe ditch the flower and keep the tree . . . but I don't know b/c I am bad at visualizing . . . wonder if there is some sort of subtle overlay you could put on the paper . . . oh i'll stop. you've probably finished already!

I'm sure anyone who gets this will love it no matter what.

ditto the tree & the flower. they don't jive so well. i love the background paper actually. the text (particularly the signature) is SO much easier to read.
