NSBR--Help Me Plan a First (and thirty-fifth) Birthday!!

I want to make Nathan's first birthday (next month) really awesome. Tell me some of the cool things you've done for your baby's first birthday!

--Also, my dh's birthday just happens to be the same day, so we'll be celebrating both. I need ideas for cute invites, and fun party stuff. I'd love to start some neat shared-birthday traditions for dh and ds. Got any great ideas??

I wish I had a tradition to share...our 1st birthdays have always involved keeping the 1 year old from shoving frosting into their ears...LOL

Maybe you could share a PowerPoint presentation (or slideshow) of both your son's first year and your DH's 35 years? I bet it will make both Mama and Grandma weepy, LOL!

not much help here....we had a low-key first birthday for Jasmine, and we'll be keeping it small for Bekah too. Jasmine really didn't care what we did, so I wasn't going to stress about it!

I love the idea of a powerpoint presentation/slideshow though! Maybe mix up baby pictures of both of them??
