Rounding one corner in PSE 3.0?

I've just played with the rounded corner rectangle thingy in PSE3.0, but how do you do just one corner?

Also, when I select this rounded rectangular tool, it cuts a piece of my original paper out, but that piece is only one color of the original.....I guess what I'm asking is can it cut a piece of digi paper like regular paper?

I usually crop and drag to size. I also know how to use the marquee and cut a circle. I'm looking for a way to cut with my shapes tool (not that I'm going to make my digi page look all CM with hearts and stars).

I've seen explanations of how to do this in other programs, just not PSE 3.0.
