So can you show me some cute hairstyles.. I usually look to the actresses but i'm open to anything, my hairdresser is amazing and can copy pretty much any hairstyle..
but my hair is SO straight.. no body, not thick or nothin.. so little will it do...

show me what your hair looks like? and if you happen across any cute photos, link me up?
please???? spanx!!!

(I posted this at MSA too... just din't want ya'll to think I was going crazy.. I'm just in desperate need of help... ROFL! )

Jacque, you can donate it if it's color treated as long as it is healthy. I donated mine when I chopped it a couple of years ago :)

Here are the guidelines straight from locks of love...

GUIDELINES FOR ACCEPTABLE DONATIONS
Hair that is colored or permed is acceptable.
Hair cut years ago is usable if it has been stored in a ponytail or braid.
Hair that has been bleached (usually this refers to highlighted hair) is not usable. If unsure, ask your stylist. We are not able to accept bleached hair due to a chemical reaction that occurs during the manufacturing process.
Hair that is swept off of the floor is not usable because it is not bundled in a ponytail or braid.
Hair that is shaved off and not in a ponytail or braid is not usable. If shaving your head, first divide hair into multiple ponytails to cut off.
We cannot accept dreadlocks. Our manufacturer is not able to use them in our children’s hairpieces. We also cannot accept wigs, falls, hair extensions or synthetic hair.
Layered hair is acceptable if the longest layer is 10 inches.
Layered hair may be divided into multiple ponytails.
Curly hair may be pulled straight to measure the minimum 10 inches.
10 inches measured tip to tip is the minimum length needed for a hairpiece. Please Note:
Shorter hair will be separated from the ponytails and sold to offset the manufacturing costs. Although the shorter hair cannot be used in the hairpieces, it still greatly helps to reduce costs.
Gray hair will be accepted and sold to offset the manufacturing costs.
Colored hair is not usable if it is colored over bleached hair.FWIW, my hairdresser did my haircut for free because I donated :) I didn't know that until I went to pay. LOL!

Now as for your style, I would HIGHLY recommend that you go to this site:

http://www.thehairstyler.com

It's $15 for a 3 month membership - I did that a few years ago when I cut off over a foot of hair. LOL. I just went in a couple of months ago and it let me just pay for one month for like $4 or something but I think you have to already be a member to do that.

Anyways, SOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it. LOL.

I think if you find a hairstylist that is affiliated, they do it for free. ?? My sil had a really good one. When she lost all her hair (i didn't realize you lose lashes and brows, too...) the stylist hooked her up. So it wouldn't hurt to ask! :)

As for short styles.... I'll have to look around... lol! I've been looking at longer layered styles for myself... :)

My hair is similar to that first picture Andrea posted, just without the bangs. It's kinda a backwards angled bob. I got the inspiration from Jenny McCarthy's haircut, but my stylist always refers to Victoria Beckum and says I got "poshed" (Posh Spice, ya know?). :)

Just wanted to add -- this cut works great a slight bit longer too. I wouldn't go too long with it, but if you're not wanting to go that short, it would still probably work. I love mine (although I need to make an appointment and get it shaped back up)!

i already have bangs, so i feel like i have to look for cuts that include them, to get a better idea of how it will look on my ugly mug.. LOL!

Gorgeous! I've always wanted a cut like that, but my hair's too wavy to do it. It just looks messy on me!
I  it!!

Love those cuts! The bangs look great and I like the slightly longer cut!

Actually, Charlene, I think you could do it. Jaime ("jooms" on some boards), who is on Natalie's team with me, got her hair cut in this style and she has wavy hair. It looks so great on her!

That's adorable!!! I think it would look super cute on you. :)

Oh, and my stylist just gave me the CUT for free - the coloring was all on me. HAHAHA. So it still cost me $80. ROTFLOL.

I absolutely love this one! It's pretty similar to how I had mine cut the last time but minus the bangs. I'm in desperate need of a trim and I've been contemplating bangs again so I think I'll show this to my stylist!

Can't wait to what style you decide on Jacque! I'm sure it will be cute!

EEEK I just chopped all mine off today. Just barely touches my shoulders now. I went with a dark blond color, with light blond highlights weaved in. The base of my neck is dark so that when my hair flips it shows some of the dark. It's really stinkin' cute.

I know you will love your new style, you always get the cutest cuts!!!!
