Today my uncle dropped off a key to my grandfathers old wooden desk that I have my computer set up on.

This means that I can lock my desk and that makes me so happy. :giggle:

My kids are always coming in here and stealing my pens and scissors and now I can lock them up :rofl:

So what happened to you today to make you just a little happier?

I did some layouts today.....or actually this weekend - and I was on time! Man it feels good since I was actually ahead of the game! :) Ahhhhhh

I was able to go outside with no shoes on. There was a foot of snow last weekend - so that makes me very happy!

I was able to sleep in until 10am... I never get to do that and even though I went to bed early and didn't "need" the sleep... it was so nice!!

Not having to cook dinner, we ordered pizza and I didn't feel bad about spending the money. :)

I get to take my shoes off and rub them on the carpet as I sit here. I work all day on hard, hard concrete floors, walking back and forth and to and fro (lol) and coming home, my feet ache so bad. So taking off my shoes and pushing my piggies into the soft carpet feels sooooooo good.:happy0159:

After a long night of tossing, turning and hardly any sleep Todd let me stay in bed and took care of everyone and thing all day. He usually spends sundays out in his garage playing with his big boy toys.

It was warm enough to wear shorts this weekend! Considering we had 4 inches of snow a week ago, I thought that was pretty good!

I finally got my antibiotic LOL Doc called it in yesterday, but the pharmacy closed at 12, I got there at 12:10, had i known they were closing earlier, I would have picked it up earlier!!! Thanks goodness I have it now, I am already starting to feel better.

I got to hang with my parents this weekend, and the girls just soaked up the grandparent joy (the grandparents were pretty funny lolling around in the adoration, too). :)

The trees in our backyard are looking SO good right now. I really love the privacy they create!! I can leave the blinds in the living room fully open and not see the neighbors behind us!

I've already shared this, but that 2 1/2 hour nap was ROCKIN' today!!

And, we went to Luby's for dinner - no cooking, no cleaning! Woo hoo!!

Oh, and I hit a few garage sales this weekend & scored the BEST finds - super-cheap designer clothes for the kiddos and a bookcase for the new baby's room!

Well my very happy thing for this weekend was going to visit our best friends who moved 3 1/2 hours away last summer. They've had infertility issues and heartbreak for years and years but have just had a baby boy last week. So we got to hang out with them and meet their new precious baby. He is a doll - so sweet, never cries, nurses perfectly - just the angel they deserve!

Then today I got to take a looong fabulous nap this afternoon after church and lunch and car repair (my battery died on the way home from lunch - luckily dh was following in his truck and was my hero!). Anyway, the nap was needed - as much as I loved visiting my friends, I did not get any sleep while there (not due to the baby, the bed and window and all were just not right).

My current little thing.... I spent A LOT of time on you tube tonight listening/watching Old New Kids on the Block videos!! OH man that brought back memories :) (Karah I know you will appreciate that as much as i do LOL)

Just wanted to add that my 11 yo dd asked me to read her a story!! THAT brings back memories - I used to read to my kids every night. Now they're just too old - or so I thought! ;)

Little things? I ran with my kid in the rain, then played tag with him inside the house, won a kit in a draw at DST, got a RAK LO from one of my friends, then got yet another from another friend. It'll be hard to beat yesterday, it was an awesome day!

I know it's not Sunday anymore, but I still have little things making me happy:

Bekah didn't nurse all night! (DH took her to the other room and they slept out there).
Jasmine slept through, snuggling me.
And Jasmine didn't wake up whining "nurse," but told me she was all done sleeping and that she had a good night :grin:

the sun is out,
I can't wait to scrap this morning,
and life is good!!

After I took Mia to her dance class this morning, we came home and set up our baby pool outside so we could play in the sun. It's a beautiful 73 degrees out and sooooo nice! I've been waiting for warm weather to come for such a long time LOL I love being outside!
