I got to craving something sweet so I whipped one up after supper and it's SOO good. Thought I'd share this easy peasy recipe...
1 lg can peaches in syrup
3/4 stick butter
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Put butter in casserole dish and let it melt while oven heats. In a saucepan boil peaches in syrup with a little butter for a few minutes. Mix other ingredients in a bowl. Once butter is melted in the casserole dish, remove it from oven and pour peaches into dish. Pour flour/sugar/milk mixture over peaches but do not stir. Return to oven and cook about 30-40 minutes until brown and bubbly. I usually take it out and add a sprinkling of sugar on top and then brown that a few more minutes. As DS says - "it's de-wishus" :happy0159:
