Checking in

Hey chickadees!! I just thought I'd check in with you all. I got here and realized that my grandmother was in worse shape than I was told. She has emphesyma and pneumonia and they put her on hospice care too. I plan on staying here another week to help take care of her until my brother and his wife can come and tend to her. She isn't even able to go to the bathroom without help, so she can't be left alone at all.

I miss you all terribly and will try and check in more this week. So, what's been going on around here?

Oh Paula, I'm so sorry that she's worse off than you were told. It sounds horrible. I'm glad that you can be there with her, however.

And like Charlene said, we've been thinking about you and have you seen the CT call? I've been meaning to email you to make sure you saw it.
