Hello, I am totally new and wondered what is the best photo editing program to use? PhotoShop?

Welcome Joy! I would have to say that PS gives you more options but there are plenty of different programs you can use. There is Elements, Digital Imaging Pro, Paint Shop Pro. These are all great programs, however, majority of us use Photoshop. So whatever you feel comfortable with is great.

i use photoshop cs2 and i would say for me. that is THE BESt... :)

I am also a lover of Adobe Photoshop. I have 7.0 and it works wonderfully with all the digital goodies. When chosing a program, I would definitely get one that allows you to have brushes, they are my favorite thing and my Microsoft Picture it didn't have that option.
