No, it is not my birthday. Yet.

But when it does roll around later this month I wish for a day of SILENCE! No little voices, no ringing phone, no barking dog, no crazy birds flying into my dining room window and scaring the sheep out of me, no neighbor's super sensitive car alarm, no ice cream man and no Hot Wheels Spin City.

That is all.

Maybe a trip to a local college library (or something like that)(just not a public one with a kids area)!! In college (10 years ago I graduated eeek!) I couldn't stand to study there because it was too quiet. But now I could use it myself some days!!

:giggle: I totally understand!

I think a library might be a good way to go! Have you ever thought of putting a sillouette of a predatorial bird (like a hawk) on the corner of your big window? That should scare the birds away from whacking into it. That's what they do at the Toronto Science Center and I think that's what finally got the stupid female canary to leave my parents' window alone (she'd attack the "competition", i.e. her reflection, every spring. It was insane!) :)

A whole day without hearing "Mom?" that would be blissful!
