can you help? pretty please. i want to dress my kiddos in something that "belongs" together. emma is 5 and camden will be 22 months old at halloween. i've thought about dorothy and toto (he was a scarecrow last year) or mary and her little lamb. anyone else have any ideas?

Well, it depends on what you like. You can do a Star Wars with Princess Leia and Yoda. I've seen a lot of Superman/Supergirl costumes out there, as well as Batman/Batgirl. That is all I can think of currently.
Off topic, but I see you are moving to Round Rock. I recently moved away from this area, and boy, do I miss the stores!

Hmmm....I don't know! That's a tough one. My son will also be about 22 months old at Halloween and will NOT wear anything on his head. So he's going to wear a black t-shirt with a big letter "P" appliqued on the front and I'm "blacking" one of his eyes - he's going to be a black-eyed-pea!! The weather issue is tough for us because so many costumes are made for cool weather.
Does your little girl have a preference? Since the 22-month-old probably won't care, I'd let her pick then try to find something that "goes" with her choice. I always love the cute animal costumes!!

oh i loved dressing my kids in themes too..
now adays they all have their own opinions on what to wear.. (who told them they could ever do that?!)
but some of the things i've dressed them in while they were younger..
were
the wizard of oz...
we had a witch, dorothy, and a scarecrow.
medieval characters...
we had a fairy, a dragon, a knight and a medieval princess.
disney...
peter pan and tinkerbell
i had a butterfly and bumblebee
my two oldest were a flower and a bumblebee to a party that same year..
i thought that was pretty clever.. :)

I remember the days of cute costumes ... sigh ... now it's scary, ghoulish things with blood and axes.
