It's the weekend!

And boy - I was ready for it this week! The kiddos in our class where quite hyped up the last few days! I look forward today to not having to say "sit in your chair the right way", "eyes and toes forward" & "Quiet please!"!!! I think I say those things 100 times plus a day right now! ;)

It's nice and sunny here today! Cool enough this morning that the boys played in the backyard for a bit and I have the blinds open for awhile. It's supposed to be right at 100 here today, which for us is cooling off! ;)

I have laundry to do and I have to re-mop the floor since the dog was outside with the boys this morning. We have a Down syndrome playgroup at a kid's town place (little inside mini city for them to play in) this afternoon. And hanging out here as much as I can today! :)

What's on everyone else's list to do this weekend???

I do have to say though - even though it's "cooler" here right now, I sure am missing actual fall weather - crisp, sweater weather, trees with color and all that! :(

DH took DD and DS with him to watch the Alabama game at a friend's house ~ just so I could hang out and scrap today! Wow! He's so sweet. So I'm really feeling weird, 'cause someone is usually always here with me. I feel confused, like I don't know what I'm doing.

we've got a bunch of family in town - so right now i'm cleaning house - and then once audrey wakes up for her nap (she'll go down in about 45 minutes) - it's off to my brother-in-law's house for a dip in the pool before it gets too cool!

and LOL at 'cleaning house' - every time i walk by the two computers i stop to check in here and see what's going on ! LOL ... not getting much cleaning done!

Today we celebrate 4 birthdays at my family's house. That should be a lot of fun! Last time we were there, I announced my pregnancy, and this time my belly's doing it for me :giggle:

I really need to give the girls and my DH some attention, as much as I'd rather spend the whole day chatting here :giggle: :scared0016:

It's still in the high 90's here. It's much cooler then last week though (then again it's only 10am HAA)

Today I have Cubmaster training for scouts (I will have my laptop with me). And general house cleaning.
I am still sicky and feeling goofy from the steriods.

Tomorrow DH is going to go jam with his band and the new guitar I got him for our anniversary and I think I will do homework. I have been studying for finals all week and next week is finals.

Other then that...not much.

And I hear ya on the cleaning, Dana! I did the vaccumming and moping last night, but the dog and kids destroyed that aleready this morning and I need to redo it!

i'm pretty much parked in front of my computer. :rofl: pretty much blocked off today for the party here. i might get around to showering sometime. ;)

oh yeah, i guess i have to take care of the kiddos, too. :giggle: though they've been tumbling around on the floor with each other today so they've been self-entertained.

Tommy had a soccer game this afternoon, then we went to Best Buy for DH's new game and then grabbed some food. I plan on sitting here pretty much the rest of the day scrapping, backing up & organizing my computer. Should be doing housework, but I think we'll try to tackle most of it tomorrow, then I have to start covering up Alex's artwork on the walls.

I was so ready for the weekend, too... and not just because of the excitement of TDC!! It was just a cruddy week! I went to a party today for my bf's niece and was the photographer - tomorrow is her son's party - again, the obligatory photograhs ... they need to quit having September birthdays because they're killing me!!
