I'm goin to a wedding...

And am not sure what to wear!!

Ok i was hunting for shoes, and found these:

Now I never buy shoes, I buy a pair of sneakers every 6 months, and very rarely do I buy a nice pair of shoes... so you know what... I loved them, I bought them!!:good: I figured even if I don't end up wearing them to the wedding, I can wear them with jeans and such!

But now I am not sure what to wear, it's an evening wedding so I think I need to wear a cocktail dress type though, but honestly I NEVER dress up LOL So I am at a loss... I bought this (I plan on wearing it to pick dh up in a couple weeks) and am wondering if it will work with the shoes, and be dressy enough for the wedding:

I think that's definitely dressy enough for a wedding. Do your hair up a little...you'll look stunning!! :good:

OMG! Too funny. This is a lot like what I'm wearing for my BIL's wedding. LOL! Mine is black, but it looks a little more like a long flapper dress. I got a fancy wrap for myself (since it will probably be a little cold this weekend).

Love the shoes. I'm skipping out on new shoes for myself since my hubby's a groomsman (tux rental), my daugher's the flower girl (dress, shoes, etc) and my son needed a whole new outfit because all he had were shirts and tees. LOL! So far, that's about $250.00 we've spent on things... o_O

Oh my yes! Perfect!!!! hey there must be something about wearing black to a wedding lately ... MIL gets married in 2 weeks time and I too am wearing black ... pants even with a black top, and rock chick boots .. well thats what I call them anyways! oh and a lime green chiffon wrap to go over top!

Thanks... that dress is a whoppin 29.50, so I could get away with payin 45 bucks for shoes LOL I am excited... I haven't gotten to really dress up in ages!!

I am so in the same boat, Deena. But the wedding we are attending is my little brothers! So I will be in the photos too - so am stressed about what to wear!

Love those shoes!! DH's cousin is getting married in Nov and DH and the youngest are in the wedding, so I'm stressing about what to wear. I bought a cute dress at Kohl's on clearance for $20, I like it, but I can't wear my boots with it. lol I love my boots & can actually walk in them. Ah, decisions, decisions.
