New eyes...

Lately I've felt like I have new eyes as I walk through various stores. Anyone else on a hunt to find things that are alterable or could be enhanced with some digi love?

Today while I was the scrapbook store I saw that a company is selling tissue box covered that are blank - now that could be cute with some digi love.

Anyone else seeing things with fresh eyes?

Oh you wont believe...I had a 'passion' for tea boxes in SA...they were just the perfect size for Recipe cards (plus they were my favourite brand!)

Granted I was trying to use up my Scrapping supplies but dont you just think they are perfect to alter with digi papers??? Oh and when we came over to the US we naturally stayed in Hotels etc. till we were settled...I kept all the adorable soap boxes...heaven knows what I am going to do with them but they are so cute and I just want to do something creative with them!!! ROFL!

wow that is neat! I was throwing away some stuff yesterday and the CUTE box for my flip video recorder landed in the trash and then I pulled it out...it is so sturdy and neat I decided I had to podge it with something...I have a stack of growing "make me pretty" things :)

love seeing the transformations... those tea boxes are fantastic!!!

Jill, I know what you mean! I've bought a few things I need to spend sometime recovering... fun, fun! And for me, whenever I go out and about, I see patterns everywhere! I have to stop and make notes sometimes so that I can make papers. :D I copied down a pattern I saw on a booth in Panera and a duvet cover at Crate & Barrel. :giggle:

Mari, those recipe boxes are AWESOME!!!

I bought my son some new Keens a few days ago (perfect Maui shoes) and the little box they came in is so cute!!! It's just screaming to be altered!! It's next on my list!

Love the tea/recipe box - awesome idea! I'm always looking for things to alter. In fact I have an old dresser I converted to hybrid project storage. It has things to be altered and all my supplies (scissors, ribbon, glue, laminator, trimmer, etc). The dresser lives in my family room so I can work on projects while my family is watching TV.

I'm with LuAnn - if it can run away - alter it!
