View Full Version : We have a heartbeat!

I just had an ultrasound, and we've got a heartbeat. I'm at 7.5 weeks, though the baby is measuring a little behind that. I go back for another ultrasound next month, and he said he'd get a more accurate dating based on that one. :)

Oh, and there's only one. :good:

Awesome news Sinead. I always loved to hear that little heart beat when I went to the OB. I hope you get a good view during your ultrasound.

YAY! So, did you see the flash or hear the beat? Doesn't matter either way. I LOVE the heartbeat. Everything feels better after you see the heartbeat!!

I got to hear it. :) yay. He printed out the ultrasound picture for me, too, but there's not very much detail because the baby is still so teeny tiny. I'm excited for next month's one because we'll see more then. :)

No, we haven't really told Maggie. I figure that she'll pick up on it pretty soon, though (especially since I'm already in stretchy pants!). Of course, I tend not to tell her things until the very last second that I have to because she drives me nuts with questions. There are still way too many months to be answering questions about this, so I can hold out a little bit longer. ;)
