Michael Buble and I have a date!

Oh! Wait!

I meant, my husband and I have a date to celebrate our upcoming 15th wedding anniversary (that's actually on the 30th), but we'll be going to see Michael Buble in concert on Friday the 17th and we'll have TWO ~ yes, I said TWO ~ nights free from our children. My mother-in-law is keeping them. Ahhh, Friday night, sleep in late Saturday, do whatever I want to without preparing food for anyone or changing any diapers or begging anyone to go poop in the potty for goodness sakes, you're almost 3 1/2, and then Saturday night with no one to take care of but myself and my hubby and we're staying up late and then Sunday we'll sleep late and can you tell I'm just beside myself!

And did I tell you I get to see Michael Buble?

you will probably not be able to use your flash so bump up your ISO... use your arm rest or whatever you can find to get yourself as stable as possible and fire away :)

You may want to play with the metering on your camera too and spot meter just on him so your camera will expose for him and not all the fun on the stage so you may get some cool mood shots that way

So fun! About 4 years ago I won tickets on the radio to see him at an Indian Casino about 2 hours away from my house. DH and I were both feeling crappy that night and decided we didn't wan to make the drive. It was right around the time he was becoming big and now I'm sad that I never went. Have a fabulous time!

You should do a YouTube search for Josh Groban and Michael Buble in concert- there's a video that is HILARIOUS!!!! I had a friend suggest it to me and I finally had a chance to find it last night. Also, there's a visio clip out there with MB covering "This Love" by Maroon 5- that SO needs to go on his next album!

I believe the Buble/Groban clip is from one of his CD/DVD combos I have of a PBS Special he did.

I just watched his version of Maroon5 . . . when I saw him in concert before, he did a lot of imitations . . . he's quite funny.

Oh, yes, there will be MUCHO discussion of Mr. Buble. Hee, hee.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but my sister already asked him to marry her. LOL....

I saw him in concert last year with my fiance and he was FANTASTIC! He puts on a great show. And all the women got a flower on the way out of the stadium! Yup, HUNDREDS (thousands maybe?) of carnations were given out to the girls! It was a romantic end to a great show!

OK friends . . . here he is . . . I share with you this fabulous entertainer who was soooo close - sigh - yet so far away . . . is he not singing directly to me? I mean, his eyes were on me and my camera. Hee, hee. We were sitting center section, ten rows from the stage, seats 7 and 8. I had a perfect line to the stage. AWESOME show! He was funny and his voice and his moves . . . sigh. And I took like 150 pics. Be prepared to see lots of layouts . . . OK, now back to my regularly scheduled program of my weekend with my hubby (which we are having a GREAT time BTW - but we decided an hour break or so would be good so I've been scrapping and he's been surfing the net) . . .
