Hi there

I'm Michelle (aka Shell) 29, from the UK and a single SAHM to my 6 year old son. I've recently got into digital scrapbooking - simply because I'm spending all my free time in front of my new PC!!! I also do "conventional" scrapping which I love, but is so expensive buying all the bits and bobs needed, which is why my head is being turned to digital as you can reuse stuff over and over http://www.pagesoftheheart.net/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Other than scrapbooking, my other interests are PSP, Ebay, gardening, music and movies.

Nice to meet you http://www.pagesoftheheart.net/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Great to meet you, too. :) Yes, digital is easier on so many levels. I do still paper scrap, but I'm quickly becoming addicted to digital. I have Jasc PSP too, but you know what? I also love a UK program called PagePlus. I've designed all my pages so far in that program. I have v.8 and would like to get v.11. They update constantly!

Looking forward to seeing your LO's!

Mary Rose M.

P.S. I'm off to work but will check back later. Monday morning, here!

Nice to meet you too Michelle! Glad you are here! I was never a 'conventional' scrapper, just went straight to digi...it's so much easier when you have 3 kiddos running around, lol!

hi to you both :)

I done another two layouts today.... both took me a fair old while - even though it's done digitally, I don't find it any quicker - if anything longer, cos i'm so spoilt for choice! I'm really pleased I picked up this hobby... have so many pics on my computer, but at the same time even more in a box on the table waiting to be scrapped!!

Hello from another UK girl! I don't think there are many of us LOL! Hmm...maybe we'll have to try to convert a few more of us to the wonders of this fantastic hobby! :regular_s

well it took long enough for regular scrapbooking to catch on!!! I started about 6/7 years ago, and when I told people about it they were like "huh?!" and I had to go and explain it was this new thing I'd discovered from America and now it's everywhere!!

Hi Michelle and welcome ! You gonna love it here, there is always something going on and you will find lots of inspiration. It is nice to see that digiscrapping is - ok very slowly :snail: - coming to Europe. I just wish it would come quicker so my friends and family would stop calling me the Computer Freak - LOL !
Looking forward to seeing your LOs
