I just went on a massive hunt for my maternity clothes box. It was hidden behind lots of other stuff. :giggle: I found my comfy, cozy almost sexy pair of Gap jeans that I found at a consignment shop for like $5.00 last time I was pregnant. Yay! I feel dressy now. But you know, they are really the only maternity item I have that I like!
So, I was wondering if I'm the only one with a tub full of maternity clothes you wish you liked better. LOL! Every time I think "When I get pregnant next time, then I'll buy a bunch of items I love and get rid of these losers." But money is always tight right when I'm pregnant, so I must be foolin' myself. :laught16: I've GOT to get some nice stuff this time. Who wants to hate their clothes for 9 months? Eek!
So how about you? Do you like your tub of maternity clothes? Or are you a lucky shopper? ;)

I was pregnant 25 years ago - so you can imagine how attractive those clothes were. I think I have a picture of myself at a baby shower wearing a big tent like dress with a red bow tie!

um could that be because you are a twig so you probably never looked pregnant! :laught16: I can't comment on this thread since well I haven't put on my hazmat suit to prevent me getting the TDC bug!

Actually they would probably be in style now ... so if you were to drink the water here ... then um...you could probably wear those pregger clothes and fit right in. :)
You do not look old enough to have a 25 year old.

There is no TUB of maternity clothes here . . . 'cause if it happens again, it will be a miracle.
Anyway, I didn't wear maternity clothes for the most part. I had a couple of shirts and pants. Most of my clothes were just 2 sizes too big. The first time I was pregnant, there weren't many options for maternity wear for the plus size woman. The second time, there were lots of options, but it was, in my opinion, a little expensive for just a couple of months wear.
I remember I hated that. Not having my whole closet to choose from.

I got rid of all maternity clothes as soon as I could get into my pre-preggers jeans. Seriously, I hated them all and for the last 4-6 weeks, I only had like, 5 pieces I could use. They could almost walk by themselves.
From what I remember, Gap has the best options for cute maternity clothes. Lately I've noticed that Zara has some awesome pieces as well, but not too affordable. Stylish, but expensive.

No Kidding I was just going to say that. Even preggy she was a rail. I have seen photos. :laught16:
Nicole, I think with Jack I got some stuff because Jacque is really good at getting me to shop, but with the others I just kinda recycled things from the pregnancy before.
