Corrupted?

Hi, I am trying to download one of the freebies in the Download section but it comes up File Corrupted when I try to open it. Anyway I can change it so it downloads right for me? I am on dial up so maybe I am not downloading all of it?

Have you tried DLing it more than once. Sometimes there's a glich in the DL that carrupts the files and just DLing it again takes care of it. If you have DLd it more than once and each time it was corrupt, please email or PM the designer and they will get it fixed! Hope this helps!

I tried to do it 2 times but it kept coming up corrupted. The 2nd time it only took like 2 minuites to download so I know it didn't work.

Make sure that after the first time you get the "corrupted" message that you COMPLETELY get rid of the zip file (delete it out of your download manager/browser, desktop or wherever it saved to, and empty your recycle bin) otherwise it will just keep opening the original file rather than the new one.

My experience is that MOST of the time when a file says it's corrupted, it really isn't...and is just that you didn't get it fully downloaded for whatever reason. But, then sometimes it IS, lol...so you are best off trying it again (after deleting the original "corrupted" file) and if it still doesn't work, email the site admin. :)

I deleted it but I did not empty my recycle bin so I will retry tomorrow morning and see if it works! :)
