Jasmine's thinking in hybrid!

I got my hair trimmed tonight. She stayed with me, her camera in tow, so she could take my picture as I got it done (I'll try to get them up on the blog tomorrow) :giggle:

We got in the car, and she told DH that she'd gotten good pictures.
Then she suggested to me, "you could make a box!"

I'm not sure exactly what kind of box she's thinking, but I'm going to have to figure it out and let her help in doing the digi part of it, because she's just so adorable!! :nail:

that is so cute!! My son is always trying to get me to leave the house so I can "go scrapbookin'" and he can have guy time with dad. He says things like, "Is that your scrapbookin'?" So cute! I love it when my boys acknowledge my hobby and try to "help".

It's really funny how much she mimics what I do, though. She knew to get in close and not just to take pictures from her seat. She got right up to my face and snapped the shot :)

By the way, that's adorable about your son thinking you're going to "go scrapbookin'" and that he doesn't mind you doing it. He probably enjoys all the pages you make about him, too :good:

Charla - I think it's so great that Jasmine is embracing your hobby and mimicking you. You're a great mommy - so why not??!! My kids love to take pictures and make things. It's a great way to start them off thinking creatively. I can't wait to see her box.

Sometimes I think my kids take better photos than me as they are not trying to get them to be "perfect". My youngest DD9 is very good. I want her to keep it up too.

Jasmine chose the papers, frames and alpha, and then chose which pictures went with which frames. We printed it out and I cut and scored it, and then she glued it together. She loves it and is so proud :giggle:
