Because there are always new issues to address, The Digichick reserves the right to edit these guidelines at any time.
FORUM GUIDELINES
Welcome to The Digichick Community! It is our goal to create a friendly, supportive and inspiring home for digital and traditional scrappers alike. To accomplish this we look to our members for assistance. Please take a moment to read over the following forum guidelines:
LINKS TO OTHER SITES
We consider The Digichick an “open” community. What does this mean exactly? Well, it means that we welcome discussion about other designers or scrapping websites. However, please note that The Digichick forum is not to be used as self promotion or mass marketing tool. Please do not post fliers, kit previews or banners from another site in our forum or gallery. You may post links to your blog, a contest announcement or a link to a nice freebie. However, if you are a designer promoting your own work, a creative team member, store, etc., you will be asked to edit or remove your thread. This also includes avatars. Avatars are a way to display a photo or image representing yourself or a mood. Do not use the avatars to promote your event, store, designer, designs or contest.
BLINKIES AND SIGNATURE LINES
Blinkies are a fun, expression of our personalities and we are proud of the team blinkies we get to display. You may post blinkies and signature lines that promote your Creative Teams, Blogs, where you sell, etc. but please keep in mind that some members use dial-up connections and adding large numbers of images can make pages load considerably slower for them. Again, use moderation and your best judgment.
We also have a blinkie that's just for you! Feel free to sport this around town to let everyone know you love it here!

RESPECTING OTHER MEMBERS
In keeping with our goal of being a safe, comfortable “home” for our members, The Digichick will not tolerate blatant disrespect toward another member! We all have our opinions and while you are free to voice them here, please do so in a kind, considerate manner. Bashing, trolling, profanity, pornography, spamming and the like will not be tolerated and will get you banned from the entire site. We do not discourage members from mentioning God, requesting prayer, expressing patriotism, etc. However, we ask that you please refrain from debating politics or religion in our forums. There are other places more suited toward those topics.
GALLERY GUIDELINES
We are honored that you feel comfortable here and want to share your work with everyone by uploading to the Gallery. Here are some Guidelines that will help keep things organized and fair.
THE BASICS
The maximum file size for your images is 150K. Please do not exceed an image size of 600 x 600 px saved at 72dpi. When saving your layout in your photo editing software, be sure use the "Save for Web" feature to decrease your file size.
GIVING CREDIT
Please take special care in giving credit where it is due! Designers work very hard to off their beautiful work to the scrapping public so it is crucial for them to be recognized. The same thing stands for layouts you have created using a sketch or someone else’s page for inspiration. Here is an example of how you can credit a designer… “Elements from the 'ABC' kit by Designer at So and So Site.” Direct linking is permitted in The Digichick Gallery. We ask that you limit this use to text links only. Thanks!
GALLERY FLOODING
To ensure that everyone’s layouts get equal exposure on the gallery front page, please limit the number of pages you upload to no more than five (5) per day.
SELF PROMOTION
Please do not use the gallery as a mass marketing tool. Layouts with “sales pitches” in the description will be edited by Administration. Flyers, kit previews, etc. are reserved only for TDC staff.
OFFENSIVE CONTENT
Please refrain from posting layouts which feature photos of an offensive nature. Nudity, pornography, profanity and other graphic material may result in your layout being deleted from the Gallery. We want everyone who visits our site to feel comfortable browsing our gallery, so we ask that you please refrain from posting any images that others might find "controversial."
POSTING COMMENTS
We all love to read comments left on our layouts. If you are uploading pages in the Gallery and expecting feedback, please consider leaving some nice words for others as well. We also have daily praise games here in our forum if you are looking for a little "Layout Love."
