I'm thinking about making some cards as a gift, and I'll use the Epson Premium Presentation Paper. If I make coordinating envelopes, what type of paper should I use? The same as for the cards? Is the weight still fine for mailing, or do they start to get heavy and need extra postage?
What paper do you use when you are making envelopes for cards?
Thanks for any tips! :)

I would use a lighter weight paper for the envelopes - 20-24 lb, postage is one reason, the other is the heavier paper gets a little bulky after all the folding and gluing for an envelope. Just my opinion though!

I use bright white ink jet paper for my envelopes, they print well, the colors look good and they are not too bulky after folding.

Ha! Why, thank you Yvette! Are you liking those?
My son has it in his head that he needs to make his valentines in the shapes of little envelopes. Little did he know . . . mama was one step ahead of him!!
