how do you organize your kits? i'm just starting out and would like to start out well organized.

I do it like this:

MARSHA > SCRAP ELEMENTS > {FOLDERS FOR EACH PLACE I DL KITS} > BY NAME OF CREATOR.

The reason why I do it this way is b/c I usually have kits by certain ppl and not a bunch of misc kits. I know that some ppl will break a kit apart into seperate folders (tags, papers, ribbons... etc...) The reason why I don't do this is b/c I did that when I first started and it became a horrible mess! I will never do that again. Also, if you dl a kit/element and you notice that the creator's name is not on it, RENAME it like this: CREATOR-KIT-DESCRIP. So for example, if you download a kit from me it would look like this: MZEPEDA-THEGOODLIFE-KIT or whatever. Does that make sense? Also, I don't use caps, I usually use all lowercase... hth! :regular_s

I was doing it in groups and then noticed I had a lot of the same ppl in the groups so WAY to many folders...lol..=P

Now I am doing it by designer with the ones I notice sell or freebie kits at a few groups and still use the group folders for designers that exclusive like here at The Digi Chick.
