Hi all I hope you can help me come up with some ideas for the table centerpieces for my daughters 16th party next Sat.....I know i know nothing like waiting till the last minute...
I was trying to come up with some idea to incorporate the thank you for coming favor with the centerpieces....

I love this kind of thing, but first....
what's the theme?
are these centerpieces for seated guests or centerpieces for buffet table, etc.?
about how many guests will you have?

ok, heres the details....the colors are black and red....my daughter is very dramatic! There really is no theme...just a get together to celebrate her 16th....we have about 50 people coming...all ages... i have 8 round tables for seating..
I was thinking of maybe doing the popcorn box template with curling ribbon coming out of it and then lollipops with a flower on them that say thanks for coming....something like that anyway..

What about something with pics of her through the 16 yrs? You could do something like this (http://www.thedigichick.com/forums/showpost.php?p=307888&postcount=7) but with pics of her instead of the letters.
Or my sister made cupcakes for her daughter's b-day with different pics of her on toothpicks. Super cute!

thanks for the ideas!! I am going to make one of the candy bar center pieces that you suggested for the center of the food table. Can you tell me how you did the wraps for the bars? Did you just measure around the bars and then make a template?
I think I am going to make icing bags filled with skittles with curling ribbon and a tag on them for the favors. I will place these in bunches in a container on the tables with curling ribbon spilling out....
I'll post pictures when I get them made.

I used the file that LuAnn sent me. ;) I can open it up later tonight and check the size of the labels for you, though. :)

I made my candy wrappers 2.57" x 1.51" - odd size I know but this is the size I used! :giggle:
You can see more details and instructions here (http://livelaughcreate-luann.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html) on my blog
I like the idea of using photos on the candy as part of the bouquet - maybe with sweet 16 spelled out?

thanks Luann! I actually made mine already and that is about the size I used for the template too!
My daughter said no way to photos of her on the candy :blink:so I just spelled out Happy Birthday Emily....
I spent hours scanning photos and made a slide show of her from birth to now to have on my laptop during the party....she was mortified....but I told her it's the one thing I want at her party...so shes allowing it but no more pics than that...hehe!:D
I think the slide show is amazing and I know everyone will love it....secretly I think she likes it too!:D
The bouquet came out great I will load pics later!!!
Thanks again ladies for all the great help!!
